Dirty, Dirty Dog

So Willow likes to wallow, apparently. She laid in her muddy hole under the gate and obviously bathed there for a while, because, as you can see from the photo...she's a muddy monster! Needless to say, we didn't let her in the house that night. Unfortunately for her, Kevin filled the hole, so she won't have nearly as much fun on future backyard adventures. Poor Willow...

Where's the Beef?

Kevin was late running errands this evening, so he left me to cook the filets myself. He gave me the directions for broiling them in the oven and they actually came out pretty good. Dinner overall was a success. It was just Isabella and I...but she ate shoestring carrots, sauteed zucchini, and even a bite of baked potato! Of course she ate quite a bit of her steak and angel-hair pasta (leftover from Dad's delicious crab pasta dinner last night.) And when she was finished she asked to be excused. This is something we've been working on...

Ione is taking her evening nap, so she'll be ready to play tonight when Daddy gets home. Earlier this afternoon she ate a "biter biscuit" and was covered from head to toe with gooey crumbs. But she enjoyed making her mess and the bath that followed! We're off to pick up toys and read stories before bedtime. So long...
