Cousins

Gavin and Ione were eating satsumas from Nonni's tree. When Gavin tried to kiss Ione, she dodged him every time. They sure are a cute pair though! :)

Kittens, Again!

While Nonni is finding homes for the kittens, the girls are still enjoying the three that are left. Isabella found one that loves to cuddle and stay in her lap. She carried it all around the backyard. Ione was so sweet and gentle with them. She squealed when she saw the kittens wrestle and play together.

Banana Bread Bites

This afternoon, Isabella and I made banana bread on a cookie sheet and cut out bite-sized pieces with little cookie cutters. I think her favorite part of the recipe was shaking the powdered sugar all over the place!

Pettiskirts

I bought the girls each a new pettiskirt last week. They are adorable! Isabella's is appropriately sassy with it's hot pink and orange ruffles. Ione's is a bit more delicate in baby pink. I can't wait to get them outside and get some cute pictures!

Isabella's Thanksgiving Feast

Today was Isabella's Thanksgiving Feast at school. This was the first class event that I volunteered to organize. The other moms were incredibly helpful and things went smoothly. The children had a wonderful time.

Hubby's Sexy New Look

Kevin has been growing out his beard for the past couple of months so he would look more authentic at the Renaissance Faire this year. By festival time, it was long and shaggy. But as soon as he came home, he went straight to the bathroom to clean up. He came out with a new, sexy look. Check him out! Doesn't he look great?

Her Jeans

Isabella has really been doing a great job of hanging her clothes in her closet (after she wears them for 5 minutes!) When I was putting away laundry, I noticed her unique way of hanging her jeans and denim skirt. I thought it was so cute, I had to snap a picture!

Brrrrr!

Saturday was the first really cold day this fall. The girls enjoyed playing outside for a few minutes in the cold. Of course with runny noses, they couldn't stay out long, but it was fun while it lasted!

Making Breakfast

Ione loves helping me cook. She was so happy to scramble the eggs this morning. I did have to keep grabbing the spoon from her to keep her from eating raw eggs!

Painting

Isabella spent her afternoon painting on her easel in the garage.

Cool Weather

Since the weather was nice, the girls and I spent the afternoon at La Centerra. Daddy had to spray inside the house for bugs, so we went shopping! After walking around a bit and browsing the stores, we had dinner at Johnny Rockets. It was a perfect evening to spend outdoors!

Cinco Park Playdate

Ione had a blast at the park this morning! She played in the sand and pushed tricycles around. Whenever she got the chance she would hop on one and try to take off. Unfortunately, she thinks everything belongs to her, so I had to run interference between her and a couple of other little tykes. It was a beautiful day to be in the park. It was relaxing (mostly) for Mom too, because the entire park is enclosed, so there were no worries about little stinkers making an escape.
