After 2 weeks of colds and stomach viruses, everyone is feeling better. So, we've been busy having fun! We had 2 weeks worth to catch up on. :) The girls made a pizza one night, and it was delicious. They dressed up Tigger and Pooh Bear in Mardi Gras masks to get ready for the parades. At Mamaw and Papaw's house, they read bedtime stories together (and played a little bit too.) They ran around in Nonni's back yard and played in the play house while still wearing their fancy polka dot dresses. We also got to watch Poppi go up into the tree in a bucket to trim the big oak trees.

Wedding

We went home for Valentine's Day for our friends' wedding. It was great to see everyone and visit at the reception. Andre and Emily were beautiful, and their wedding was wonderful. I was glad we were able to make the trip.

Poor Baby

Ione is sick. She hasn't eaten much at all since Friday evening (it's now Monday night.) She's had an upset stomach, and just can't keep anything down. She's pale as can be and I *know* the poor baby has lost weight. But she has still been in great spirits and she's played well despite the fact that she feels so bad. This morning, I grabbed a shot of her watching her best bud, Elmo, on TV. I know one day it may be a problem, but right now I love seeing her with those two little fingers in her mouth and the thumb of the other hand rubbing over the top of them. It's so sweet. She can calm and soothe herself so easily. She's such an incredible baby!

Fun with Lights

Last night I decided to play with the shutter speed settings on my camera and play with an LED light. Kevin was a great artist. He drew a scene with a house and a tree, and even a swing! I wrote all of our names, which sounds boring, but I did it all in cursive and backwards.
