She Loves to Swim

Isabella started swimming lessons last week. She's taking lessons for 30 minutes every afternoon at The Houston Swim Club. She's doing so well!! Before we started, she was afraid to get in the water without holding on to us with a death-grip! Now she can float on her back (on her own) and hold her breath to go under water. She even swims to the bottom of the pool to pick up swim rings. It's incredible!
On a side note, we do have a dilemma every day trying to decide which swimsuit to wear. She has 3 one-pieces: Princess Ariel, Disney Princess, and a white one with polka dots. A few days ago we bought matching two-piece suits for the girls. Since they were on sale, there weren't many left. We got Ione an 18 month, and Isabella size 5 (she normally wears 3 or 4.) In this picture, Isabella is wearing her size 5 top, but her size 5 bottoms fall off of her. So, she's wearing Ione's (size, 18 month), which explains why they are a little small on her! She was insistent that she wear her new "separated" swim suit to swim lessons yesterday. I figured she was happy, and it certainly wasn't falling off, so she wore it...

The Houston Swim Club is an incredible place to learn to swim! In fact, my sister drives from Houston to Katy JUST for the HSC. Gotta love that Katy has something people will drive for and it's in our own backyard.

She'll be swimming like a fish in no time. :-)
